Puppy problems & using Bidvine

As mentioned in previous blog posts we are now the stressed harassed proud owners of a six month old puppy and it seems she needs a little more training that we had first thought.

She knows that any toileting needs to happen in the garden and has just about cracked it but she gets really anxious whenever we leave the house and seems to be a little lazy when it comes to being bothered to go outside.

Instead she piddles on the carpet and the other day, my duvet.

So when I came across Bidvine as a way to find professionals across a huge number of trades and businesses I went through a list of things to search for:

  1. Crates of wine. Nope, not really a solution to the problem of the piddling puppy and terrible toddler.
  2. Dry cleaning. Nope, fixed by washing in my washing machine.  Although I may now need number 3…
  3. Washing machine repair.  Turns out my little machine didn’t cope so well washing a kingsize duvet.  Oops.
  4. Dog training. Now this is more like it.  There must be someone to help with housebreaking the pup right?

How it works

You can use Bidvine on a PC/laptop, mobile site or by downloading the app.  I downloaded the app which is free and setup an account which took a few minutes

You then look through a list of categories and choose the one that is closest to what you are looking for.

I chose Dog Training which came under Pets and then filled in some extra information.

You can also enter more information at the end if you wish.

Once completed, Bidvine will push your request out to any companies who match your requirements and they will respond with a bid for your business.

You can accept or reject bids as your wish.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, absolutely – I used the app on my iPhone and found it really easy to use and super quick.  The process is suitable for anyone to follow and you don’t need to be tech-savvy to use it which is great.

For more information you can find Bidvine here.
